The latest profile from MHA's Caring Connections program showcases how Northwest Medical Center in Albany is building access to affordable dental care in their region. The Northwest Medical Center: Caring for Kids program offers free or subsidized oral health care through an agreement with a local dentist.

Patients' Experience Of Hospital Care Now Available Online

Consumers can now view data on patients' experience of hospital care. Using data collected from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Survey, Hospital Compare provides a standardized look at hospital care in 10 areas, including communication with doctors and nurses, responsiveness of staff, communication about medication, pain management, discharge information, the hospital’s quietness and cleanliness, and the patient’s willingness to recommend the hospital to others.
